
Two people have been arrested after multiple people were stabbed on a train to Huntington, police say.
British Transport Police (BTP) said it was "currently responding to an incident on a train to Huntingdon where multiple people have been stabbed".
The force said that two people had been arrested and BTP officers were working alongside Cambridgeshire Police.
"We were called at 7.39pm with reports that multiple people had been stabbed on a train," Cambridgeshire Police said.
"Armed officers attended and the train was stopped at Huntingdon, where two men were arrested.
"A number of people have been taken to hospital.
"The incident remains ongoing and the A1307 has been closed as you approach the town centre."
According to London North Eastern Railway all lines are blocked around Huntingdon station due to incident.

It further states that major disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Thameslink added that no trains will call at Huntingdon in both directions until further notice.
British Transport Police and Cambridgeshire Police remain at the scene.
