Jake Paul has revealed he's not friends with Mike Tyson any more as they prepare for their boxing match later this year.

The duo are due to lock horns on November 15, having originally been scheduled to fight on July 20.

Paul and Tyson have nothing but the utmost respect for each other, something they've made clear on numerous occasions over the past few months.

Yet Paul, speaking at a press conference on Sunday night, has now claimed his relationship with the boxing icon has changed for the time being.

After being heckled by fans in attendance, the 27-year-old said: "People are yelling at me in the event, but what happens when I put this man to sleep?

"He's saying that it's going to be my funeral. He's saying it's going to be my wake. He's going to kill Jake Paul. All of these things, and that's why I love Mike.

"I respect him, but we're not friends anymore until November 15th.

"I'm knocking this motherf****r out and we're going to see who's dead."

Paul's decision to fight Tyson is a controversial one.

The former Disney channel star is 31 years than his opponent, who is one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time.

But Paul says he's fighting Tyson because he's eager to prove to everybody that he's capable of thriving in the world of boxing, having won 10 of his 11 professional bouts so far.

"Making history," he said when asked why he was facing Iron Mike.

"This is what it's all about for me, man. I'm a kid from Ohio. They'll never give me credit. That's the way it is.

"If I was walking on water, they would say it's because I couldn't swim.

"And this is to make history. The people think I'm going to get knocked out by this strong, powerful guy. All the people in my comments say, ‘look at his power. He's going to get KO’d.’ [...] This has taken a chance to fight somebody as vicious as Mike can be.

"You got to risk it for the biscuit. That's the name of the game.
