Staggering footage posted on social media shows a French Coast Guard picking up a dinghy just two miles from France and dropping them into British water has been released.
Speaking on GB News the former Chief Immigration Officer at the UK Border Force Kevin Saunders said: "It's the taxi service. But from the French point of view, they don't regard the law of the sea, which is what this is all about, in the same way as we do. The French view is that they will only get involved and rescue these people if they ask for help."
