Russell Brand shows no remorse as he is pictured for first time since allegations of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse



Russell Brand has been pictured for the first time since allegations from four women of sexual assault.

He also faces allegations of controlling, abusive and predatory behaviour, following a joint investigation by The Sunday Times, The Times and Channel 4 Dispatches.


Brand denies the allegations and in a video posted on Friday, stated all his relationships have been consensual, suggesting he is the subject of a “co-ordinated attack”.

Wearing an open neck black shirt, Brand was spotted in Wembley, London as he arrived to perform his show Bipolarisation.

The comedian arrived at the gig an hour later than anticipated after “getting stuck in traffic”.

He was reportedly met with a rapturous reception as he brushed aside the allegations.


Brand told the crowd: “I love you. Thank you. There’s some things I cannot talk about and hopefully you appreciate that I’m going to give you everything I’ve got.”

The show comes after four women alleged sexual assaults between 2006 and 2013, when Brand was at the peak of his showbiz powers, working for BBC Radio 2, Channel 4 and picking up roles in Hollywood films.

In a clip posted to his social media channels on Friday, Brand said all of his relationships have been consensual, admitting to being a “promiscuous” presence while at the height of his fame.

The 48-year-old sad he was facing a “litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks”.
