The eight-year-old girl who died after a Land Rover crashed into a primary school in London yesterday has been named.
The Metropolitan Police named the deceased victim as Selena Lau.
Selena's family said in a statement: "Selena was an intelligent and cheeky girl adored and loved by everyone.
"The family wishes their privacy to be respected at this sad time."
Flowers and tributes have been left outside the independent school in south west London.
One note read: Dear Selena, you will always be our shining star. We will miss you so much."
The note also included a picture of a star and kisses.
Pupils were outside taking part in a tea party when the vehicle rammed into the building.
Glass shards and wall rubble were left strewn across the playground.
The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 9.45am on Thursday.
A total of 16 people were treated at the scene and 10 were taken to hospital after a vehicle hit The Study Preparatory School in Wimbledon on Thursday.
Another eight-year-old girl is in a life-threatening condition following the crash.
A woman in her 40s also remains in hospital in a critical condition.
A seven-month-old girl was among those taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested a 46-year-old woman from Wimbledon on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
She has since been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in late July.
